Don called White Pine Forestry & Excavation in to assess the dead and dying trees around his cabin. After review, like most properties in the area, he had spruce budworm affecting his trees.

White Pine Forestry & Excavation widened out the driveway by removing all trees within three feet of the side and then did a 20 foot fire break on either side of the driveway. This process ensures that Don will have a more accessible driveway to his cabin as well as in the unfortunate event that a fire apparatus needs to enter the property, that it can.

A fire break was also done around his cabin, sauna, and outbuildings.
